Why Self-Talk Matters


Hello, my friends.

It’s so nice to be here with you today as we take  these next few moments to sit still in silence. 

It is so important to be able to be just with ourselves.

I am my highest priority

Allow yourself to find a comfortable position, with your head, neck and spine all in a straight line.

Please bring your mind to the present moment.

Following my words and focus.

My entire body is a gift

Even without any effort from me, so many systems are supporting me every single moment.

With love and kindness from my body, I take my awareness to my head.

I relax my head, my face, my neck, my shoulders-pulling them away from my ears.

My brain is functioning, giving signals every moment - to help my body support me.

I fill my heart with gratitude for this silent machinery, that is working - all the time

Relaxing my back, I am thankful my spine that carries messages to support my posture.

I relax my feet, my legs, my knees and toes - i am thankful my legs give me the ability to move from place to place. 

Take a moment to spread love and kindness to every organ and how it plays a role in your human existence. 

Bring your focus to your breathing.

Breathing in and out, watching your stomach filling deeply with air

Exhale slowly as your stomach begins to rest. 

Becoming aware of how your body feels as you breath in - breath out.

Now, with that same breath, bring your focus to your chest. 

As I breath in, my chest expands, as I breathe out, all the air leaves my body.

Sending your awareness up to your nostrils, where the cool air enters.

As warm air leaves your body with your exhale.

Inhale quietly, exhale slowly and find peace within your positioning. 

Breathe in, breathe out.

Breathe in, breathe out.

With each breath you build, new energy rushes into your body, bringing light.

Attracting comfort, tranquility and gratitude.

Become aware of the sensations that create when you breathe.

Be here, with your breath, in your body, calming your mind.

Visualize this next breath.

As you inhale bring that positive breath to your crown, at the top of your head.

As you begin your exhale that positivity begins to sprinkle throughout your body.

Filling your center of gravity with power, peace and love!

As you lay in comfort and warmth, 

Repeat these positive affirmations with me.

I can express myself freely.

I choose love over fear.

I am creative, kind and compassionate.

I love myself for, who I am and what I stand for.

I deserve to be happy.

Every single day with every single breath.
